Factory fire forces evacuation of homes

HOMES close to a factory were evacuated after a fire broke out.

The fire service said seven appliances - from Birstall, Hinckley, Western, Eastern, Central and Lutterworth stations were sent to Loughborough Joinery Company, on the corner of Woodgate and Wellsic Lane, Rothley, at 11.09am yesterday.
