Donations roll in as bowls club boosts Children in Need

A 24-HOUR 'Bowlathon' at Melton & District Indoor Bowls Club has raised thousands of pounds for national charity Children In Need.

Four teams of bowlers played triples games against one another, in rotation, nonstop from noon on Thursday until the same time on Friday.
More than 40 bowlers stayed for the full period, with others dropping in to take part after work or to boost energy levels in the early morning.
