Captains drive-in as club gives hospice a big boost

IT has been a busy time at Lutterworth Golf Club, writes Jennifer Prentice.

New captains have driven themselves into office in the tradition ceremony, supported by fellow members, family and friends, and the retiring captains presented the money raised during their year of office to charity.
Dave Jones is the new men's captain, Gail Ballard the ladies' captain and Aston Brown the juniors captain.
Jones has over a decade of membership at the club and Ballard has been a member for just under 10 years.
