Fun activities to promote green issues at libraries

VISITORS to Staffordshire’ libraries this May are being invited to a series of fun activities to help promote environmental awareness and sustainability.

Following the success of last year’s Green Libraries Month, this year promises even more exciting events, talks, arts and crafts workshops running right across the county.
Highlights include sessions with the county council's climate change team who will be giving their top tips on the simple things people can do to go green. The Community Learning service will also be offering people green themed taster courses, while Waste Savvy Staffs will be running repair and reuse workshops.
