WELL would you believe it? Last weekend a lovely couple went to the cattery and adopted black cat Donald, who had been in our care for over two years. Wow.
It's early days, but we hope he settles well. Then lo and behold another lovely couple came along and adopted black and white cat, Compo, who had been with us for over 12 months. Everything comes to he who waits and that was certainly true for Donald and Compo.
Coming into our care last week was an elderly black cat who has been called Phoebe. She was found in someone's garden and taken to Lime Trees Veterinary Hospital, Meir Park. She was very dehydrated, extremely underweight and very weak. She was immediately put on a drip and within a few hours had started to improve and started to eat.
