It was a touching scene as crowds gathered for a candlelit vigil in memory of Chorley hairdresser and mum-of-five Nicole Gorton following her tragic death aged 41.

Nicole was described by friends and loved ones as "an angel on our earth" and a "beautiful soul", as they came to pay their respects with candles and balloons last Friday evening.
