Thordarson hits the target in friendly win at Victory Park

Ten days on from their return to pre season training, North End's first-team squad took to the field at Chorley's Victory Park for their first run-out of preseason.
Stefan Thordarson's goal early in the second half proved decisive in a game where both Paul Heckingbottom and Magpies boss Andy Preece made full use of their squads.
Before the teams came out North End secretary Ben Rhodes made a pitch-side presentation of a framed shirt to the popular Chorley kit man Steve Cowell, in recognition of his long period of service employed in a similar role at Deepdale.
