With leaders Elite A not playing, it gave a chance to Fulwood Red to join them at the top of the Preston and District Snooker League Division One.
And they did so with a 5-2 win at Broughton A to move level on points at the top.
Stephen Rowlings starred for Fulwood, knocking in breaks of 66 and 31 in his 97-17 win.
Dave Whalley had a 37 break in his 74-35 victory and Jonny Hannon had a 34 break in his 69-59 win.
Ryan Kellett of Broughton knocked the highest break of the week in with a 68 break in his 86-37 win.
