Performers shine on stage in magical Christmas concert

Young performers from the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA) in Preston joined chart-topping opera quartet G4 on stage for a festive concert at Blackburn Cathedral, performed to an audience of more than 450 people.

The appearance formed part of G4's nationwide Christmas tour and saw performers aged six to 16 sing alongside the group on a selection of seasonal favourites. The PQA Durham Choir also performed several songs during the concert.
The performance followed six weeks of rehearsals with professional singing teachers.
