Local mum raises over £50,000 for charity with trek to Petra

Kids Planet Day Nurseries CEO Clare Roberts OBE has helped raise £59,500 for the UK charity Girls Out Loud after completing a six day trek through Jordan to the city of Petra.

The money raised from the self-funded expedition will provide career-changing support for teenage girls across the UK through mentoring and confidence building programmes.

The Girls Out Loud foundation is dedicated to empowering young women to find their voice, giving them the confidence to ask for help, seek motivation, or change challenging behaviour patterns.
