Illegal cigs and vapes worth more than £100,000 seized

Tens of thousands of packs of illegal cigarettes have been seized by police from storage units in Preston.

Five storage units in Ribbleton and Deepdale were raised by Preston Police along with Lancashire Trading Standards and HMRC.
Worth an estimated £100,000 the illegal vapes and cigarettes were discovered.
One unit had vapes worth around £5,000 and another was stuffed with 171,000 packs of illegal cigarettes which if sold as contraband would have been worth £100,000.
