Harrison Armstrong has impressed during his loan stint at Deepdale
Last week, Everton boss David Moyes was asked about the potential of recalling the England youth international in January, given the Toffees' midfield options have taken a hit.
The Scot - who managed PNE for four years - suggested he would like Armstrong to see out the season at Deepdale and help fire the club into the playoffs.
"Everton think it's great for him and Harrison loves it," Heckingbottom told the Lancashire Post, when asked if he'd seen Moyes' comments.
