Organisers have 125,000 reasons to celebrate as plays blessed with best of summer weather

A welcome triple whammy of happenstances this summer has led to the 16th season of outdoor theatre at Lytham Hall being the most successful ever.
That's the view of Julian Wilde, outdoor theatre manager at Lytham Hall, who this week handed over a record donation of £23,000 to the Lytham Hall Restoration Fund, taking the total raised since 2010 to £125,000.
