Four-legged guest's in a hole lot of trouble at a family barbecue

Providing he doesn't choose mealtime in our garden to, er, relieve himself on the lawn then he is a welcome guest.

But during what may prove to be the last of the year's sunshine he decided, for reasons best known to himself, to start digging a hole right in the middle of the grass.

Despite throwing the nearest shoe at him, he was undeterred with his paws a blur as if trying to root out a passing mole or build a warren for his family.
