Fast food giant to hold 60th birthday party in city

KFC is to team with SpudBros for a party on Preston's Flag Market to mark 60 years since its first UK restaurant.
The Fishergate branch was the American fast food giant's first UK outlet making Preston the original home of KFC since 1965.
Tomorrow will see KFC host a party on the Flag Market from 12pm to 3.30pm.
There will be a free limited-edition SpudBros potato featuring Popcorn Chicken and the eatery's Super-charger Sauce.
There will also be prizes, vouchers, music from Red Rose Radio and an immersive KFC museum and cinema experience exploring their history in Preston.
