Double trouble as temporary lights cause car chaos

A busy route between Preston and Longridge has been regularly turned into gridlock as a second set of temporary lights are in place.
The scene on Preston Road, Grimsargh, where two sets of temporary
Preston Road in Grimsargh and where it turns to Longridge Road at Red Scar have a double whammy of works due to the bridge widening and now further electrical works.
Delays of more than an hour are regularly being reported by frustrated motorists and bus passengers as traffic snarls up on Bluebell Way.
One motorist told the Post: "It's taking me an hour to get from Preston to Grimsargh.
