Former Preston North End striker Brett Ormerod views the next month or so as a crucial period for the Lilywhites.
Paul Heckingbottom's side drew o-o at Stoke City on Boxing Day - a result which left them fifth in the league at the halfway stage of the campaign.
Prior to last night's trip to Wrexham, PNE had won the joint fewest games (nine) of the top 10 teams but only league leaders Coventry City had lost fewer matches than North End's four.

He felt Heckingbottom would be content heading back up the road with a solid away point in the bag.
