According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea are 'leading' the race to sign Kobbie Mainoo from Manchester United, though Bayern Munich and Napoli have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the midfielder.
The 20-year-old has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and his long-term future in the North West is up in the air right now.
Mainoo had risen through the Red Devils' academy before breaking into the first team back in 2022, since when he has made 83 appearances in all competitions and scored seven goals.
