Can celebrities actually cook? The proof will be in the pudding

The definition of 'celebrity' is definitely becoming looser.
It's hardly earth-shattering news to note that many of the supposed celebs on many TV shows are closer to Z than A in the all-important list. For starters, I'm always deeply suspicious of anyone who is described as a 'TV personality'. It's almost as bad as being an influencer or a YouTuber *shudder*.
Take Celebrity MasterChef, for instance. By far the most famous person on the current series is host John Torode.
Thought he'd been axed? Well he was - except he's presenting the current cycle alongside food critic Grace Dent, who will continue on in the role without John alongside Irish chef and former protégée of Gordon Ramsay Anna Haugh.
Will MasterChef be the same without him? I for one won't miss the way he shovels food into his mouth as he's judging it but table manners aside he's a perfectly capable presenter.
So fans should make the most of the current 'celebrity' incarnation, which is approaching its climax.
At first, it looks promising. There's Anthony Costa, who used to be in Blue - yep, heard of him. And Alfie Boe, he's the one that does all that opera singing. Tick.
