Broken bone in wrist can't halt Hirst-Greenham's title charge
Lancashire Evening Post
|May 15, 2025
Morecambe's Oliver Hirst-Greenham held his nerve to claim a seven-shot victory at the 2025 PING Scottish Open for Golfers with a Disability, with a dazzling display despite a broken wrist.
-
He followed an opening level par round of 72 with a 77 to finish on +5 for the championship and well clear of the chasing pack led by Barry Wearing who finished second and fellow Englishman Jonathan Chown in third.
Hirst-Greenham admitted he was a little nervous protecting a five-shot overnight lead.
