Bigger Boxing Day programme is scheduled for next season

The Premier League have confirmed that they will bring back more festive games next season.

A much bigger festive Boxing Day programme next season will be scheduled for the 2026/27 campaign. The top flight confirmed on October 31 that there would only be one Premier League fixture on December 26 this year, with Manchester United hosting Newcastle in an 8pm kickoff.
