Proposal for mini retail park at Southcraig
Kilmarnock could be set for a retail double-whammy after plans for two new developments were announced.
The town could welcome its first Starbucks and Sainsbury's if blueprints are approved by East Ayrshire Council planners.
Proposals show that the coffee giant wants to bring a drive-thru to the north of the town between Glasgow Road and the Southcraig estate.
Supermarket giant Sainsbury's plan to bring one of their local stores to the same spot in a bid to create a mini retail park.
