Edu Min Directs Staff Creation For 184 Hanging Schools

Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo has directed the School Education Department (SED) to move a proposal for the creation of staff for 184 “hanging schools” to the Finance Department for approval.
These schools, upgraded over time, have been functioning without formally sanctioned staff, relying instead on internal arrangements, officials said.
During a meeting with senior officers, the minister was briefed on the status of these schools and instructed that the proposal for staff creation be submitted without delay to the Finance Department for concurrence. She emphasized the importance of avoiding unnecessary delays in processing urgent files and directed all officers to ensure timely disposal.
