Divisional Commissioner Jammu Reviews Post-Flood Restoration, Relief Measures

Directs Departments To Expedite Restoration Of Essential Services
Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, on Saturday chaired a high-level meeting to review the relief and restoration works in districts of the Jammu division post heavy rains and floods.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner took a detailed assessment of damages to public infrastructure and the status of essential services including power, water and road connectivity in each district.
The Chief Engineer JPDCL informed that electricity has been restored in all affected areas. Similarly, the Jal Shakti Department reported that barring a few areas, the water supply has been largely restored.
