DC Budgam Conducts Assessment Of Ashura Arrangements

In view of the forthcoming observance of Ashura (10th = Muharram-ul-haram), Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-udDin Bhat on Friday conducted a comprehensive review and on-spot assessment of arrangements at Beheshte Zehra Park Budgam -a key congregation site for mourners in the district.

DC Budgam Conducts Assessment Of Ashura Arrangements

During the inspection, DC interacted with concerned officers and took stock of the facilities being put in place to ensure a smooth and peaceful conduct of the Ashura procession.

He emphasised the need for interdepartmental coordination and timely completion of all preparatory measures.

DC issued a series of on-thespot directives to the departments involved.
