Commissioner SMC Reviews Progress Of National Clean Air Program (NCAP)

In a continued push towards improving urban air quality Faz Lul Haseeb (IAS), Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess progress under the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP).
The meeting, held at SMC headquarters, Karan Nagar and was attended by key line officers from various departments.
The session involved a detailed evaluation of the initiatives undertaken during 2025-26 to mitigate air pollution in the city. Commissioner acknowledged the progress made so far, applauding the departments for their efforts, while also drawing attention to areas that demand focused and accelerated action.
