City's Smallest Mosque Stands Tall At Regal Market

SRINAGAR: Amid the crowded streets and the constant bustle of Lal Chowk, a small yet significant religious landmark quietly stands in Regal Lane — the Srinagar's smallest mosque.
Built in 1968 and rebuilt in 2014, this three-storey structure can accommodate only 24 people at a time. The mosque’s ground floor serves as a washroom and ablution area, while the upper two floors are dedicated to prayers. Despite its modest size, the mosque holds a special place in the hearts of Regal Lane's traders, who have been looking after it for decades.
