A PUBLIC school in Thanet is celebrating after winning prestigious award.

St Lawrence College, in Ramsgate, was named Independent School of the Year for Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Justice. The winners were announced at a ceremony at The Law Society in London on Tuesday, October 14.
