Back-and forth against Narraguagus a season best, despite the loss

The girls basketball team lost to number one Bangor Christian in Bangor 44-20 on February 5.
We played a great first half, trailing them only by a point until they dropped in a couple quick baskets near the end of the half. We slowed the game down and were patient, taking good shots. Bangor Christian shot better in the second half to pull out the game, but Coach Glenn Billings was happy with how we played them. Megan Wendell led us with 12 points and nine rebounds, Naomi Duke had four points and Taylor Ciomei had four rebounds.
The girls ended their season with probably our best game on February 7 at home. Unfortunately, it was a loss to Narraguagus 41-36. This game was a back-and-forth game right to the end.
Just to give you a perspective, Narraguagus beat us 61-21 earlier this season.
