Veteran rocker vows to put on show of a lifetime
-
Sir Rod Stewart has promised to party hard after his coveted Glasto slot tonight.
The 80-year-old says he's going to have a big booze-up with his family and band at their £1,000-a-night hotel in Bath to toast his performance on the Pyramid stage.
Brushing off a recent bout of the flu, Sir Rod vowed to be "the best Rod you've ever seen" for his 90-minute set. And how does he plan to warm up for one of the shows of his life?
With some stretches with his personal trainer and a few Bacardi and cokes - of course. He is a rocker after all.
