'Rich tax' could do such good

WALES' First Minister, Eluned Morgan, has joined calls for a wealth tax on the very richest Brits to help deal with the country's financial black hole.

It's an idea that has slowly been picking up steam since Keir Starmer won power - with former Labour leader Neil Kinnock suggesting a 2% tax on wealth over £10million.

That would affect fewer than 0.04% of the population, but would at least go some way to helping to balance the books.
