Amy Bevington, 44, lives in Portishead with her children Hettie, 11, and Huxley, six. Hettie is non-verbal, autistic and has complex needs. Amy and her children took a holiday during term time to Menorca last year.

"Going on holiday with a disabled child is far from straightforward," explains Amy. "If we travel during peak times, both children (and myself) will feel overwhelmed.
