EX-GUNNER FIRES LATE WINNER
-

EDDIE NKETIAH handed Liverpool a taste of their own medicine to deliver a helping title hand to old club Arsenal.
Nketiah came off the bench to score a dramatic winner in the seventh minute of injury time to maintain Crystal Palace's flying start to the season.
Having beaten the Reds on penalties to claim the Community Shield last month, this time the soaring Eagles put a first dent in the title defence of the Premier League champions to move within three points of Arne Slot's leaders.
It had appeared Liverpool, who have made a habit of netting late goals this campaign, had escaped with a point after Federico Chiesa stepped off the bench to equalise Ismaila Sarr’s early opener with just three minutes left.
But with the allotted six minutes of additional time up, the visitors failed to clear a Palace long throw and Marc Guehi - who saw a move to Liverpool collapse on transfer deadline day - flicked the ball on for Nketiah to volley home.
