A dash to Austria you say?

To see two new Merc models on a snowbound mountain top? What could possibly go wrong? Well British Airways did their best to gum up the gears but a day later than expected and after a pitstop in London, we did get to Innsbruck and headed to the high ground to see the new GLB and CLA, two cars that couldn't look more different yet share very important architecture. The official unveil of the roomy GLB, which can be had in a five or seven-seat configuration, was the highlight of the trip, with the now classic boxy shape smoothly contoured and preened into shape, updating a modern take on the genre with classic good looks.

Inside the radically redesigned interior with its new full-length Superscreen is a bit of a showstopper and shows where Merc is going in terms of driver/computer interaction and the use of AI and assisted driving techniques.

As for space don't be fooled by the ‘B’ moniker, the interior space is vastly improved and the third row of seats is more than a mere token this time around with the square roofline helping in the head room department (as well as earning it the nickname of the Baby G Wagon).
