You're Gavin a laugh? Jim could still win protest vote

FIANNA Fail candidate Jim Gavin, who sensationally withdrew from the Presidential Election on Sunday, could still win the election as a protest vote ~ if there is an “utter outbreak of s**thousery in the nation.”

This is according to Dr Jennifer Kavanagh, law lecturer at South East Technological University.

Speaking to this newspaper, Dr Kavanagh said Mr Gavin's name will still appear on the ballot paper as the day for withdrawals from the election has passed.

“It is quite possible Jim Gavin could win this election if there's an utter outbreak of s**thousery in the nation,” said Dr Kavanagh. “In this election it seems like anything is possible.”
