WOMAN FACES TRIAL FOR IMPEDING LISA MURDER PROBE

A WOMAN employed by the HSE will go on trial on Monday accused of impeding the investigation into the murder of mother-of-two Lisa Thompson and perverting the course of justice.
Deirdre Arnold, of Briarfield Grove, Kilbarrick, Dublin 5, is charged with attempting to impede the apprehension of Brian McHugh between May 9 and May 10, 2022, whilst believing he was guilty of an arrestable offence.
Ms Arnold, 42, is also charged with embarking on a course of conduct that was intended to pervert the course of public justice between the same dates.
