Brennan slams decision to play Louth’s Leinster clash with Kildare in Tullamore as a 'disgrace' and 'horses**t'

GER BRENNAN says the decision to hold a provincial club league final curtain-raiser to Louth’s Leinster semi-final encounter with Kildare at Tullamore was ‘horse***t.’

The Wee County boss says his squad and backroom team were “squashed” into one dressing-room and there wasn't room to “swing a cat.”

Brennan reckons the tie, which his side won late on to set up a Leinster Final meeting with Meath on Sunday week, should have been played at Croke Park.

The former Dublin star’s comments come after the Leinster Council was widely praised for moving their two senior football semi-finals out of GAA HQ for the first time in three decades, with many believing it contributed significantly to Meath’ shock victory over Dublin at the weekend.

Brennan says teams going to play Dublin at Croke Park, who are not familiar with the venue, are “hugely disadvantaged” but he believes Louth's Leinster semi-final should have been at GAA HQ instead of O'Connor Park.
