Cork fighter out to extend record in Vegas
CORK light-middleweight Callum Walsh will bid to stretch his unbeaten record to 16-0 in Las Vegas tonight.
The 24-year-old southpaw headlines a Dana White promotion at the Meta Apex with a scheduled ten rounder against Carlos Ocampo from Ensenada in Mexico.
If successful, he is likely to have another outing in New York around St Patrick’s Day.
Ocampo, a 30-year-old from Ensenada, has a record of 38-3 with 26 inside the distance wins and all three defeats were in title bouts.
