Trent to get World Cup lifeline
THOMAS TUCHEL is ready to throw Trent Alexander-Arnold a World Cup lifeline.
Tuchel revealed he plans to make a raft of video calls to players who are on the fringes of his squad with Alexander-Arnold the star name on the list.
The England boss admitted that Jarell Quansah is currently ahead of the Real Madrid right-back but he plans to speak to players to tell them what they need to do to get back in his plans for next summer.
Alexander-Arnold has not been in England's last three camps, has not been picked since he went to Real Madrid and it looks as if Chelsea captain Reece James is nailed-on to start the World Cup at right back.
