Heimir hails hero Parrott for firing Ireland into World Cup play-offs
HEIMIR Hallgrímsson paid tribute to Troy Parrott after the Dubliner’s last-gasp World Cup heroics in Budapest yesterday.
Parrott's sensational hat-trick earned Ireland a remarkable comeback win and secured a spot in next March's World Cup playoffs — with the draw taking place on Thursday in Zurich.
