Tributes paid to cyclist, 19, struck by van

TRIBUTES have been paid to a teenager killed while cycling just a few minutes from his home.

Ciaran Cahill, 19, lost his life when he was struck by a van in Lucan, south County Dublin, early on Wednesday morning.
Mr Cahill lived in the Foxborough estate and the accident happened at around 7.30am at the junction of Balgaddy Road and Griffeen Avenue, less than a kilometre from his home.
