Raised a Catholic, he considered becoming a priest and later converted to Scientology (thanks to first wife Mimi Rogers).

Cruise was diagnosed as dyslexic when he was seven. He claims his dyslexia was cured by Scientology.

In secondary school, Cruise was a wrestler. He had to give up dreams of taking it further when he injured his leg.

Cruise doesn't like most fruits - especially bananas - as well as apologising or celebrating his birthday.
