MacIntyre eyes Bethpage joy with Rory

SUPER MACS

BOB MacINTYRE is eyeing a Ryder Cup rampage with Rory Mcllroy.

The Scottish star is gearingup for another Scottish Open showdown with the Grand Slam king.

McIlroy pipped the home hero by a shot two years ago, but the Scot's magnificent effort helped push him into the European team for Rome.

MacIntyre and Mellroy were then team-mates in the success at Marco Simone and now have their eyes on a repeat in New York in September.

The Masters champion has set a first away win in 13 years at Bethpage as huge on his next bucket-list and MacIntyre wants to join him in sinking the Americans in their backyard.

The Scot knows there's plenty of golf to be played before the clash with the United States, but he's noted Mellroy's fierce motivation and said: "The Ryder Cup, you've got to have Rory all singing and all dancing. The way he's playing golf just now is ideal for him.
