NOEL HUNT has been sacked as READING manager after 10 months in the job.
The former Royals striker (above) leaves the club two points above the relegation zone in 19th after Saturday's 11 draw at home to DONCASTER.
Chairman Rob Couhig said: “Football is a performance-based business and while we have seen moments of progress this season, results have not reached the level required.”
It was the second dismissal of the weekend in League One after Darren Ferguson was sacked for a fourth time by PETERBOROUGH.
