9/2 Scottie can retain his Jacket
FOR RORY Mcllroy this may well be a week that he dreads - given the immense pressure on him year in, year out to win the Masters and complete the career grand slam.
It's been over a decade now since Rory's last Major championship success - way too long for a player as outrageously talented as the Irishman.
Only Tiger Woods has earned more than McIlroy over the course of his golfing career.
Winning all four Majors is akin to getting on golf's own version of Mount Rushmore.
Five legends of the game have managed to do it - Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tiger Woods.
A further 12 players have managed to accumulate three of the four Majors.
McIlroy makes his 17th US Masters appearance and this will be his 11th attempt to complete that career Grand Slam.
Rory's recent record at Augusta is solid, with eight top 10s in his past dozen appearances, but he was outside the top 20 last year and missed the cut the year previously.
