But last Saturday, she scored 1-9 as St Brigid's secured the Marie McAleer Cup as Roscommon Ladies senior football champions.

Also over the weekend, St Barry's secured the intermediate crown, and Northern Harps, only formed in 2020, won their first Junior A title.

Yet amidst all this, it was the Junior B final that captured the imagination of the Roscommon public.

The Kilbride team are known as ‘Rocky's Rebels’ in honour of Rochelle ‘Rocky’ Mullaney, stalwart and captain of the Kilbride club who won five county SFC medals in succession from 2016 to 2020, but who died in July of 2024.
