POPULAR ANDY REMEMBERED IN BELLEWSTOWN RACE
Irish Daily Star
|October 02, 2025
THE late Andy Carroll is remembered at Bellewstown today with a 5f Handicap named in memory of a very popular local man.
Carroll rarely missed a meeting on the Hill of Crockafotha and his passing last April was greeted with much sadness in Ashbourne, Curraha and the surrounding areas as he was hugely involved in sport and well known and loved through his work as a chef.
Hi family will be at the racecourse today to present the prize to winning connections and it could well be another proud Meathman can take the €10,000 race on LISMACBRYAN (3.45).
Colin Keane has the inside draw in stall one and trainer Peter Cluskey is based down the road in Balbriggan.
