Tanaiste: Vitriol shows why likes of Tate & McGregor should be social pariahs.... | Toxic masculinity row as minister branded 'scumbag', jealous' and 'weak' in rant.
SIMON Harris has said that a post from Andrew Tate branding the Tanaiste "jealous", "weak" and a "scumbag" proves his point about "toxic" male influencers.
A war of words has broken out between the online influencer and the Foreign Affairs Minister over comments Mr Harris made in the Dail and on social media about him and MMA star Conor McGregor.
Tate has denied charges of rape and other serious offences against him that he is being investigated over in Romania.
McGregor, meanwhile, was found liable last November in a civil case taken by Nikita Hand in which she alleged he raped her.
The Dubliner was ordered to pay €248,000 in damages.McGregor was branded a "rapist" in the Dail last week under privilege by People Before Profit TD Ruth Coppinger.
Speaking in the Dail last week, Mr Harris said that the new Netflix show Adolescence should be "compulsory" viewing in Irish schools.
