THESE little parasites infest your home and take over your life. Getting rid of them is a time-draining nightmare.
My flea hell happened last month when my cat Kray got fleas. Naively, I had been letting her out to roam, and then come in and sleep in the house.
I noticed her scratching and soon all of us were destroyed with bites. They ate me alive and my legs were ruined.
They don't live on humans like they do on cat fur, but they'll bite you for a blood meal needed to procreate. Insect repellents don't work.
We spent weeks hoovering and steaming and flea-spraying everywhere, over and over and washing all laundry.
