MURPHY CAN TAKE REVIVAL POWER TO WHOLE NEW LEVEL

Last year's second and third, Subsequent and SHADOW DANCE, are both back to chance their arm again at Doncaster and it's easy enough to see why bookmakers have made Shadow Dance favourite today.

- RORY DELARGY

He was only a neck behind Subsequent last year and is 4Ib better off at the weights, and although disappointing in the Ebor last time, he was just behind Subsequent again, and maybe still needed the run, only his second of the season.

Maybe the ground was a bit quick for him at York too, and there won't be any such problems here, and he's a pretty confident shout to come out on top this time around.

At a huge price Good Show merits a mention as well.

Useful with Keith Dalgleish, he was off for two years until reappearing at Goodwood in June for new trainer Andrew Balding, and he shaped well there, staying on for a close enough sixth and looking like he'd retained much of his ability.
